        Meta (2)

โ™พ๏ธ Meta Stock Surges While Regulatory Investigations Continue

Meta's stock surged over 14% to a record high $451. The figures come after a year that saw a boost in digital advertising as well cost-cutting and layoffs in what chief executive Mark Zuckerberg called the "year of efficiency".

Fospha data supports Metaโ€™s dominance as a key channel for advertisers โ€“ the platform recently reported a ROAS 24% better than brandsโ€™ other channels on average.

However, ad platforms continue to face headwinds from regulatory investigations. Meta and Alphabet are under scrutiny by the EU for potential breaches of competition rules under the new Digital Markets Act, which could lead to fines of up to 10% of global revenue.

This may impact marketers in the short-term, posing potential disruptions to app store policies. Long-term, it reflects the increasing momentum towards a cookie-less future, reinforcing the need for a privacy-safe advertising solution.
